Andy Peers

Over the last 20-years, I’ve been dedicated to working and volunteering with organisations that are seeking to make the world around them a better, fairer and more just place. Through this endeavour I’ve held leadership roles at The Big Issue in the North, The Big Life group, The Big Issue South West and the British Red Cross. I’ve also spent eight years providing organisational and leadership development support to charities and social enterprises, ranging in scale from pre-start to £200 million per year, across a wide range of development areas and addressing many social, cultural and environmental issues.

It’s an absolute honour and privilege to lead Longleigh. I’m committed to bringing my years of service delivery experience into the funding arena to ensure Longleigh is a welcome and exciting part of the continual innovation and improvement required from funders. Our role is to better serve those inspirational organisations working on the frontline to enable transformation in the lives of individuals and communities and this demands that we are transformative in our work too.

Elaine Lines

I am a marketing and communications professional with over 20 years’ experience, having worked with a wide range of organisations across the public and private sectors, as well as providing pro bono public relations within the charity and community sectors.

 

I am delighted to be working with Longleigh, supporting the Foundation in sharing the transformative work it does – making a difference to people’s lives and helping the many communities within the social housing sector.

Charlotte Dicks

Grants Programme Manager

I have over 10 years’ experience in the Charity sector, in both frontline and management roles, working in a variety of specialities including substance misuse, mental health support and child protection. Before coming to Longleigh, I was working in a grants’ management role supporting Veterans and their families. I’m passionate about developing and running grants programmes that are tailored for the individual and that support a wide range of circumstances and situations people face in their day to day lives.

I’m proud to work for Longleigh – we’re a funder that really ‘puts people first’ and we’re using our funding to enrich the lives of individuals and communities within the social housing sector.

Kelly Read

Finance & Operations Manager

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant while working as an auditor in the charity department at BDO LLP for eight years. As well as statutory audits, I also worked for the outsourcing department where I gained experience preparing accounts and completing internal control and governance reviews. Over the past six years I have been Finance Manager at two children’s charities, where I have had responsibility for the charity’s finances and operations, such as IT, HR and data protection.

I enjoy working at Longleigh as the staff and trustee team work closely together, show a real passion for our mission and truly care about how our funding can best help transform the lives of our beneficiaries.

Sara Woodward

Finance Administration Officer

I have twenty-five years’ experience of working within finance related roles, across a range of settings; as an auditor in practice, commercially within the events industry and in business software development. I am thrilled to now be able to utilise my skills within the charity sector in working for Longleigh.

The Foundation’s mission to support transformation in the lives of residents and communities within the social housing sector really strikes a chord with me and I feel privileged to play a part in this. It is wonderful to be working together with likeminded colleagues, knowing that my work is helping to make a difference.

Ingrid Green

Individual Grants Officer

I’m originally from South Africa and have now been in the UK for five years. I’ve held a range of administrative roles, including within the banking, legal and commercial sectors.

I thoroughly enjoy my role at Longleigh as I have always enjoyed working with people and my dream was to be able to help wherever I could. Working at Longleigh gives me great satisfaction when I can see how lives are being transformed through the Individual Grants we provide to individuals and their families.

Manjeev Muker

I have spent the last eight years working at both national and local carers charities as a fundraiser and support worker. Before this, I completed a degree in Geography and the Environment and an MA in South East Asian Studies, while working in music and local government.

 

The move to Longleigh is a huge joy. It is an absolute privilege to be a direct help for those that need it through the transforming nature of the grants the Foundation provides.

I have spent much of my working life in front facing roles where empathy has played a vital part. Over five years of enquiry management and application processing in higher education, followed by two years helping people improve their prospects through apprenticeships, means that I value giving people the support they need to transform their lives and I enjoy making a real difference to the customers and communities we help.
