Manjeev Muker, Longleigh’s Individual Grants Manager, Speaks at ACO Conference

Manjeev Muker, Longleigh’s Individual Grants Manager, was invited to speak at the Association of Charitable Foundations (ACO) annual conference, which took place on 27^th September. Manjeev, along with Anne-Marie Bancroft, Principal Consultant at Altair, introduced Altair’s research findings around the lack of flooring provision in social housing, which Longleigh has commissioned and funded.

As part of this three-year project, Altair has published two Learning Reports to date:

• Learning Report 1: Scene Setting | Altair (altairltd.co.uk);
• Learning Report 2: Tenant Perspectives | Altair (altairltd.co.uk);
• Learning Report 3 will report on Landlord Perspectives;
• Learning Report 4 will report on Regulator and Government Perspectives; and the Business Case.

Manjeev said: “It was great to be able to attend the ACO’s Annual Conference for 2023. There were a number of excellent presentations based around the theme of Embracing Change, notably from Family Fund, which described a shift towards funding applications for flooring. The conference was a great day out. It was energising to be amongst peers, learning about how and why they do what they do. It also allows us to think about making connections with likeminded organisations, so that we may share best practice and possibly even collaborate on future projects.”
