Our Annual Review and Financial Statements 2024/25 now live
Posted on 23rd December 2025

We’ve published our Annual Review and Financial Statements for 2024/25. We show how we’ve supported people living in social housing during a year of rising costs and demand.
At the heart of our work is a simple belief: everyone living in social housing should have the opportunity to thrive, on their own terms. Over the past year, we provided timely financial support, wellbeing services and research funding so that residents manage crises, improve mental health, and make their house a home.
Key highlights from 2024/25 include:
- In total, we approved 686 individual grants, worth £584,000. These grants supported residents through hardship, crisis and critical incidents
- Additionally, £174,000 invested in financial wellbeing services, helping hundreds of people improve stability and confidence
- £44,000 was also invested in counselling services to support mental health and resilience
- On top of that, we committed £53,000 to research which is shaping fairer housing policy and influencing sector practice
- National recognition for our work, including the Commercial Collaboration of the Year award
Our Chair, Fiona Ellison, reflects on a year marked by compassion, creativity and strong partnerships. She highlights the dedication of our staff and trustees, the generosity of Stonewater as our principal funder, and the importance of resident voice in shaping everything we do.
Grantee voices: Lucinda‘s experience
“Thanks to Longleigh’s support, I could cover essentials like food and energy costs while also accessing financial guidance. With £1,295 in extra support, I moved from worrying about day-to-day bills to being able to plan ahead and manage my money with confidence. Overall, the help I received was brilliant and very welcoming.”
Looking ahead, our new strategy, A Foundation for Purposeful Impact, will guide our work from 2025 onwards. It focuses on embedding dignity, flexibility and choice in our grant-making, extending our reach through partnerships, and equipping ourselves so that we can deliver lasting change for social housing residents.
