New financial wellbeing support for Stonewater customers

We’re proud to announce that we are continuing our partnership with Clean Slate. Today, we launch a refreshed and more comprehensive Financial Wellbeing Service for Stonewater customers.

Thanks to ongoing funding from Longleigh through our Circles of Support programme, Clean Slate will build on their proven approach, bringing:

  • Money guidance
  • Employment support
  • Benefits support

Bringing it all together in one joined-up service.

What’s new is the addition of FCA accredited debt advice, meaning customers can now access trusted, expert support all in one place.

Over the past four years, Clean Slate have worked closely with Longleigh and Stonewater colleagues to support customers in real, practical ways. That includes helping people manage household budgets, navigate benefit systems, improve their job prospects, and get back on track financially.

This new service is shaped by what customers told us they need most. The offer is still flexible and personalised, with 1-2-1 sessions, and now goes further by supporting those in problem debt or crisis. The partnership with Community Money Advice brings even more expertise into the fold.

Clean Slate’s track record speaks for itself: over the last year, Clean Slate have secured almost £14,000 in additional financial gains, each month, for Stonewater customers. We are looking forward to seeing the additional funds the new services will put back into customers pockets,

Clean Slate were reappointed following a competitive process. Their ability to connect with customers, commitment to employing people with lived experience, and dedication to continuous improvement made them a clear choice for us.

One customer shared:
“I cleared some of my debts, started talking to my housing association, and Eon Next are looking into my account and have put my debts on hold for three months. I’m really singing praises to Clean Slate… I’m not scared anymore, thank you!”
